Helping Artisans Grow
Every piece you bring home carries the hands, heritage, and hope of Kerala’s bronze artisans.
This is craftsmanship with a purpose — helping Kerala’s bronze craft survive, and grow, in a way it never has before.
An old metal for a healthier kitchen
Bronze has been the metal of the South Indian kitchen for centuries. It holds and spreads heat gently, so food cooks evenly and slowly — the way traditional recipes were meant to be made.
Even heat
Thick bronze walls spread heat across the base, so curries simmer instead of scorch and appams cook through evenly.
Built to last
Strong, durable and easy to maintain. A well-kept bronze uruli is passed down, not replaced.
Eco-friendly
No coatings to peel or flake. Bronze is fully recyclable and only gets more beautiful with age.
Keeping bronze bright
Use mild soap and a soft scrubber after every use. Avoid steel wool.
Wipe dry straight away so water spots don’t form on the surface.
Tamarind, or lemon with salt, brings back the golden shine in minutes.
Medium heat is all bronze needs. Avoid storing sour food in it for long.
